Tyson's Corner: Autumn 2018

Heading into the holiday season; so much to be thankful for…

AUTUMN 2018

  • TURKET TROT: We had a great turnout at this year’s Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5k– it was the coldest on record, but never underestimate what a Punch Peep can do knowing there’s a bagel waiting at the finish line. Our own Mike Mastell showed what a Strongman can do by clocking the fastest time, and was in good company at the finish line to start heading into Thanksgiving Day celebrations. This year’s participants: Joe T, Mike P, John G, Matt G, Matt S, Aundrea, Lillian, Cheryl, Kathleen, Stacy, Marie, Mike T, Jane, Jamie, Elise, Kerry, Jenn, Aaron, and Kim G. Congrats all – thanks for making it such a special day!
  • SAY YOU WANNA REVOLUTION?: Our next order of business as far as competitions go is the Revolution Powerlifting Syndicate powerlifting meet in New Jersey in January.  This is open to anyone who regularly participates in the Punch Power Program. Don’t be shy – give it a try. You just may end up amazing yourself…see Stef or Mike for details.

  • GIVE THE GIFT OF STRENGTH: Know someone in your life who could use a nudge to check out Punch? Or, would you like to give yourself a jump start? Take advantage of our Punch Card sale – 20% off our 10 packs and 25 packs. Or, we can customize something just for you – just reach out to Stef and we’ll work something out: stef@punchgymnorwalk.com
  • CLEAN KICKS: Just a quick reminder to not wear workout shoes outside on days where they might pick up salt, rain, slush, etc. that could end up on our workout surface. As you know, working out can mean considerable time pushing up/getting up/dropping down, etc. on the floor, so we try to keep it as clean as possible. Please wear street shoes and boots as applicable to our entrance, and then change into your clean workout shoes at our entrance. Feel free to store your street shoes in the cubbies at our entrance. Thanks in advance.
