It’s the winter of Tyson...

2018 is the year of the dog – perfect!

WINTER 2018. At Punch, every day is a dog day – Tyson rules the house. So, with 2018 being the year of the dog, from our logo to our mascot, it feels like the year of Punch and its Peeps.

If you made new year resolutions, I hope you’re sticking to them. If not, go easy on yourself; as it says in the Power Room, “There’s no success like failure, and failure is no success at all” (thanks for that, Bob Dylan)! It’s never too late to start up whatever you want to do to make yourself a better, stronger person, by your own standards.

Your team here at Punch is ready to help. Whether it’s helping you get (re-) started, keeping you on track, encouraging you, pushing you, giving you opportunities to try new things, or celebrating your accomplishments, let us know what you’re up to and we’re behind you to help.

Along those lines, our newsletter is all about that. In this issue, I’ll share with you some perspective on weightlifting belts that I hope you find insightful. As I continue my studies for my Chiropractic Doctorate (I’ll be taking Part One of the National Board Exam March 2nd), the benefits and importance of using a weightlifting belt properly has been on my mind, so I hope to give you a better understanding for how it all works.

As well, we’ll take a look at what’s coming up for the year.  “Fem and Fierce” is a competition I’ll be participating in with some of our Belles – ladies, if you’d like to learn more, please speak up – and all are welcome to cheer our Belles on as they train and compete alongside me (this will be my first contest in two years!). Also, you’ll hear about what else is going on at Punch, and some highlights of what you all – the Punch Peeps – are up to.

As always, please feel free to share any feedback, as well as news of your own we any include in our next newsletter. You’re the reason Punch is such a special place, so be sure to share.

2018 is rolling – and it’s for the dogs (in the best sense possible) -- let’s get the most out of it toward our own goals, together.

Woof!
